Dan is an independent Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) who focuses on the lifetime financial security requirements of his clients and their families.
Through a personalized and dedicated approach, Dan and his team develop and implement innovative planning solutions to meet their clients’ financial security needs.
Dan believes in the importance of professional conduct and standards as a financial advisor. He is a proud member of Advocis (The Financial Advisors Association of Canada) and past president of Advocis Edmonton which upholds the standards of best practices and ethical code of conduct for financial advisors. Dan is also a member of CALU, the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting. Dan has achieved Court of the Table at the Million Dollar Round Table seven times. (MDRT members are among the top financial advisors in the world.)
Dan is licensed in Alberta, British Columbia, and Ontario. He is based in Edmonton and visits the Red Deer/Calgary area regularly. Dan also travels throughout British Columbia at least twice per year. He is available for consultations throughout the year via phone, email, or online.
Apart from his work, Dan relishes spending quality time with his wife, Patricia, their six children, and grandchildren. They love attending their grandkids’ sports events and dance recitals, as well as spending leisurely moments together at the lake. Additionally, Dan is an avid golf enthusiast who finds joy in hitting the greens.

Marie followed in her father’s footsteps in 2011, after graduating with her Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta. She is a licensed financial advisor in the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan. Marie has a passion for assisting clients in understanding the importance of professional Disability Income and Critical Illness insurance as part of their financial well-being. In her personal life, she loves to run and compete in half marathons.

Karen Irwin is an experienced administrative professional dedicated to providing exceptional client services. With 1.5 years of industry experience, Karen’s journey began unexpectedly, leading to new opportunities. Starting as an office assistant, she quickly developed her organizational skills and worked her way up over the course of a decade. Karen excelled as a file clerk and office assistant at KPMG before becoming an administrative assistant for the College of Alberta Denturists. During this time, she focused on building strong relationships with the registered denturists of the College.
Karen is happy to assist our clients with administrative changes (name, address, banking, paymode, premium payment information, application status updates, etc) and can be reached by email, phone and text.

Meet Danielle Robinson, our talented Marketing Coordinator with a strong administrative background. She has ventured into the Finance and Insurance industry, gaining expertise in compliance and regulations through collaboration with regulatory bodies. As our Marketing Coordinator, Danielle ensures efficient and professional communication among clients, staff, and carriers, using her exceptional proficiency in the Microsoft suite. Beyond work, Danielle enjoys exploring new destinations, mountain biking, and playing the drum in the Local RCMP Pipe band. With her dedication to family and marketing expertise, she brings professionalism and warmth to our team.
